Stretching for more than 24,000 kilometres, The Great Trail is the world’s longest network of recreational multi-use trails. This bold project, 25 years in the making, has been achieved with the help of Trans Canada Trail’s partners, donors, volunteers and all levels of government. Moving forward the goal is to continue to enhance the Trail and make it even more accessible for generations to come.
Oh, the places you’ll go along The Great Trail...
Connecting diverse habitats, varied landscapes and thousands of communities, the Trail offers travel experiences that reflect Canada’s wealth of diversity.
